For Fireflies in the Garden, we needed to take Willem Dafoe 20 years back in time, which implied making him look younger. Gradient Effects developped a process that allowed us to complete over 100 shots of this 'digital lifting' ahead of schedule. I took one such shot and had to zoom in frame to show the wipe between original plate and doctored plate in more detail. The effect is much more dramatic in cinema format, but this is the web and I did my best here to recapture it for you.
