Well, I can’t claim too much credit for this spot. I did animation and then tweaks to the render setup, the latter had been made by another artist for another spot. I worked on two Chase spots at Yu+Co, and this one is one of them. Good design, props to Synderela Peng and Johnny Wong.

Fable III

While at Psyop, I worked on this cinematic trailer for Fable III. I only lit a few shots and did lsome layout and shader work as well. There was a talented team that cranked out this trailer pretty quickly.

FoodMaxx

On this spot for a grocery store chain, I worked on the dynamics, lighting, texturing and compositing in After Effects. This was done at Brand New School.

Aflac

While at Brand NewSchool, I worked on two spots for Aflac. I was a supervisor, who also did look development, lighting, and compositing… The project was pretty fun and we had a talented team.

T-Mobile

I did a little bit of everything on these spots. Most of the legwork was done by Giancarlo Lari, and I finished the elements doing mainly lighting and material work, and with texture, model and animation fixes. My elements went straight into Flame and pop… Lighting was done with HDRs taken on set.

Bavaria Beer

This beer spot for Dutch TV was my first project at Eight VFX. I lit the ‘hero’ water drop. Art directing caustics turned out to be real tricky and time consuming. We worked hard on it but the quality shows, in the finish and quality of the fluid animations. Not to mention Vania’s awesome spider. [...]

Boeing Spot

Asylum created several commercials for Boeing. I enjoyed recreating detailed aircraft and here is a cut of several ads put together. For these projects, I was mainly involved in texturing, though I did do some layout work as well.

Propel Spot

For this Propel spot, I worked alongside 2 other texture artists because we weren’t sure which assets were going to end up really close to camera. Vast amounts of 3D assets were created at hero quality for this reason. This was a pretty fun project. Houdini was the main effects tool used.

Bones jet landing

One of my first studio gigs was working on the first season of Bones. I don’t recall if I rendered this with Mental Ray or the Maya renderer, I only remember having about 5 days to model, texture, animate, and light the elements for HD output.
